Aspect Legal Nurse Consulting provides behind-the-scenes medical case support to attorneys and legal teams handling medically complex cases.

Founded by Amanda Woods, BSN, RN, Aspect helps legal teams make sense of medical records, identify clinically significant issues, and turn complex medical information into clear, useful work product.

With more than 10 years of bedside critical care experience, Amanda brings a strong clinical foundation to every case. Her nursing background includes critical care, neuro ICU, trauma, perioperative care, and outpatient orthopedics, experience that provides a practical understanding of patient care, clinical documentation, standards of practice, and how the medical record reflects what happened at the bedside.

Today, Amanda works behind the scenes with attorneys and legal teams, providing medical record review, case screening, hyperlinked chronologies, medical research, expert identification and vetting, and ongoing litigation support.

Professional Background

Amanda Woods, is a Registered Nurse licensed in California and Nevada with more than 10 years of bedside critical care experience.

Her clinical background includes neurocritical care, trauma, perioperative nursing, outpatient orthopedics, and school health. She has extensive experience reviewing complex medical records, evaluating clinical documentation, identifying gaps and inconsistencies in care, and communicating complicated medical information clearly.

Amanda also serves on the Board of Directors of the Bay Area Chapter of the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants.

Based in Northern California, Aspect Legal Nurse Consulting works with attorneys and legal teams remotely and provides in-person support when appropriate.
